“I just, I never thought there’d be a day where he wouldn’t be here,” she added.
Sharon, 73, then shared that her bouts with grief over the rockstar’s passing come in “waves.”
“I hate going to bed at night,” the former “X Factor” judge admitted, adding that she struggles sleeping by herself.
“I mean, I slept with you for the first two months so that you weren’t on your own,” Kelly shared. “But then I felt like you needed some space.”
The “Project Runway Junior” alum then shared that she struggles thinking about her late father in the mornings.
Kelly also shared that some of her most challenging times are in the mornings.
“I wake up and for the first three seconds, I feel normal. And then, I remember everything. Mornings are the hardest for me,” she detailed.
“What is the morning? Because it happened in the morning. And I used to spend most of my time with Dad in the morning,” Kelly added.
Ozzy died on July 22 at the age of 76.
In a statement to Page Six, his wife, Sharon, and four of the Black Sabbath singer’s kids — Louis, 50, Aimee, 42, Kelly, and Jack, 40 — confirmed the heartbreaking news.
“It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning,” the statement read.
“He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time.”
Ozzy died from a heart attack, according to a death certificate filed by his daughter Aimée at a London registry.
