At one point, Bailey and Johansson, 40, shared a quick peck on the lips.
“I believe in being able to show love in all different ways. And if you can’t kiss your friends… life’s too short not to,” Bailey told Entertainment Tonight at the premiere.
The “Black Widow” actress grabbed Bailey’s face and planted a kiss on him, just as the pals did at the World Premiere of the action/sci-fi in London on June 17.
Their smooch is all in good fun, as Bailey is openly gay and Johansson is married to her husband of four years, Colin Jost.
In fact, the “Saturday Night Live” star, 42, attended the “Jurassic World Rebirth” carpet on Monday and coordinated in white to match the “Fly Me to the Moon” star.
Earlier this month, Bailey got candid about starring in the latest installment in the franchise as an out actor.
“There’s moments where, yes, you have to be excellent to prove that you can do it. And it’s not like I haven’t felt that,” he told The Hollywood Reporter. “There’s the weight of history. And there’s endless brilliant people who have come before you who have changed the way that people see sexuality.”
“Any sort of sense of prejudice against sexuality is something to fight against, and what better way to do that than to go and play any kind of character,” continued Bailey. “Being an out gay actor, historically, meant that you wouldn’t be able to play straight and there weren’t any gay parts to play anyway. That’s obviously changed massively.”
Johansson also opened up about the franchise while talking to E! News on Monday. She revealed why she would let her daughter Rose, 10, whom she shares with ex-husband Romain Dauriac, watch the film.
“I’ve been talking to some other ‘Jurassic’ fans and they say this is the scariest one,” she explained, “but I would let my daughter see it.”
Johansson, who also shares son, Cosmo, 3, with Jost, added: “It’s still appropriate for the family. You just gotta watch it through the crack in your fingers.”
“When I saw the first ‘Jurassic Park’ movie, I was 10 years old in the theater and part of the impression it left on me was the jump scares, the laughs, but the terrors for sure.”
Which was a plus for the A-lister.
“That’s part of what’s so great about ‘Jurassic.’ It’s thrilling in all ways: visually and also emotionally,” she noted.
Johansson and Jost, meanwhile, made headlines this past December for some not so family-friendly comedy.
Jost told a dirty joke about Johansson during the annual “SNL” joke swap.
The swap happens between the comedian and his Weekend Update co-anchor, Michael Che, 41, with the comics reading jokes written by one another.
Jost read: “Costco has removed the roast beef sandwich from its menu. But I ain’t trippin’. I’ve been eating roast beef every night since my wife had the kid.”
“It was so vulgar,” Johansson confessed to InStyle in March. “I just can’t believe that they went there. I was like — it was so gross. It was really gross.”
She added with a laugh, “And, like, old-school gross.”
Although there are no hard feelings between the husband and wife, who went to bed together at 4 a.m., laughing about the raunchy jab.
“I was like, ‘My nerves are shot.’ And Colin said, ‘Me too,’” she recalled.
The duo have frequently supported one another, with Jost writing in his 2020 memoir, “A Very Punchable Face,” that Johansson has “a grace and a smile that I’ve still never seen in any other human.”
“I’ve met someone I love and who I feel more comfortable with than I ever have before,” he gushed. “I feel more confident committing to what I’m working on and standing by whatever I create, regardless of whether people like it or not.”
