Jimmy Kimmel Responds To Trump Calling French President Macron “Publicity Seeking”: “It’s Like Diddy Calling You A Bad Boyfriend”

Jimmy Kimmel criticized President Donald Trump on Live for lashing out at French President Emmanuel Macron after he claimed President Trump “bailed” on the G7 summit in Canada to help broker a ceasefire between Israel and Iran.

“For whatever reason, that rubbed Trump the wrong way. He was angry,” Kimmel commented as he shared a TruthSocial post from Trump in which he called Macron “publicity seeking.”

Kimmel compared President Trump to rapper and music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, who is currently standing trial on sex trafficking and racketeering charges and has been accused of sexual assault by dozens of people, including his ex-girlfriend, singer Cassie Ventura.

“By the way, Trump calling another president ‘publicity seeking’ is like Diddy calling you a bad boyfriend,” Kimmel quipped.

Trump’s social media statement against Macron concluded: “It certainly has nothing to do with a ceasefire. Much bigger than that. Whether purposely or not, Emmanuel always gets it wrong. Stay tuned!”

Kimmel laughed at Trump’s final statement as he joked that POTUS was asking Americans to “stay tuned” as if it was “the season finale of Celebrity Apprentice or something.”

He also speculated about what Trump meant by “much bigger” than a ceasefire. “Maybe a bowel movement? I don’t know,” he joked.

Kimmel went on to criticize Trump’s approach to brokering a ceasefire in the Middle East. He noted the president reportedly had a “great idea” to have Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin to help broker the ceasefire.

“You know the guy who wont agree to a ceasefire? Have him work on the ceasefire. And while you’re at it, have Nick Cannon grab me a box of condoms too,” Kimmel said.

Plus, the president is now in a “tough spot,” Kimmel said. “The American military right now is busy guarding all the Waymos here in downtown L.A.”
