Jennifer Lopez shut down some misconceptions about her skincare brand.

In an Instagram Reel posted on the company’s page, the multi-hyphenate clapped back at accusations that she doesn’t actually use JLo Beauty, a line Lopez launched in 2021.

“You asked. @jlo answered. 😉,” the brand captioned the video. “Watch her respond to your JLo Beauty comments with all honesty, heart, and a little extra glow. 💕✨”

“I’ve been diving into everything that you guys have been saying about JLo Beauty,” the A-lister said at the beginning of the Reel.

After a long chuckle, the singer responded, “That’s funny, because I’m standing in my actual bathroom right now. No, I use it, I use it every day.”

There were other remarks with mixed reviews of the line, too.

One person argued the collection is too expensive. Lopez replied, “Listen, I get it. Your skin is something that you have to show up with every single day.”

She continued, “So if there is a little bit of splurge in you, I would say do it on skincare, without a doubt.”

Lopez was also amused by a comment from a customer thinking it was “just another celebrity skincare brand,” but it “actually works.”

“Yeah, that was the point,” she said with a giggle. “You thought what? I came to play? No.”

Fans came to her defense, raving about the products in the comment section, with one saying, “JLo Beauty is top tier✨🤍 Jenny created something special!!”

Another wrote, “I tried it, love it and need to buy more!!!”

One claimed the Jlo Beauty moisturizer ($55) “feels like silk,” to which Lopez responded, “We want it to be like cashmere for your face, but make it clinically tested.”

Lopez introduced the brand four years ago, launching with eight formulas. The line now includes a wide range of skincare products, as well as body formulas and skincare brushes.
