The couple, who hadn’t performed together in over six years, sang “Crazy in Love” followed by “Drunk in Love” remixed with “Partition,” before Jay-Z, 55, performed his and West’s 2011 song “N—-s in Paris.”
But instead of belting out the original lyrics “Just might let you meet Ye,” Jay-Z sang, “Just might let you meet Bey.”
Jay-Z and West, 48, originally recorded “N—-s in Paris” for their collaborative album “Watch the Throne” album that topped the Billboard 200 after its release in Aug. 2011.
The rappers used to be good friends and Jay-Z even acted as West’s mentor early in his career.
But their relationship has completely fallen apart over the last decade.
In March, West attacked Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s 7-year-old twins, Rumi and Sir, in a disturbing rant on X.
The “Stronger” rapper questioned the twins’ mental capacity in the message, which he briefly deleted and then reshared.
West eventually apologized for the attack but then doubled down in an interview with DJ Akademiks, calling his tweet about Rumi and Sir his “best” and “strongest.”
The Grammy Award winner also said in the interview that he’d rather “give up [his] life” than relinquish his “freedom to talk.”
After apologizing again for the remark on X, West asked a vulgar question about Beyoncé in another disturbing tweet.
Following West’s comments, a source told Page Six that Jay-Z and Beyoncé “were discussing how they want to handle this situation, whether that be privately and/or in a legal matter.”
The insider added that the couple, who also share daughter Blue Ivy, 13, “will absolutely not stand” for West’s attacks on their kids.
Jay-Z and Beyoncé fell out with West after they skipped his and Kim Kardashian’s 2014 Italy wedding.
West told GQ about the pair’s absence at the time, “All that, I wouldn’t even speak on. It doesn’t even matter to me whatsoever, who would show up. Because the most important person to show up there, to me, was Kim. And that’s all that matters to me.”
In 2016, West went on a rant about Jay-Z and Beyoncé onstage at a concert and claimed the couple didn’t reach out after Kardashian, 44, was robbed in Paris.
West — who is now divorced from the reality star, with whom he shares four children — has made headlines for spewing antisemitic and hateful remarks on X over the past few months.
He even began selling swastika merch, which led to his talent agent to drop him.
West’s relationship with his wife, Bianca Censori, has also sparked controversy.
