Jagr had 10:08 in ice time during Friday’s game and joined the power-play unit in a season debut that was delayed because of a muscle problem.
The Knights wound up with a 3-1 victory over Vitkovice on Friday, with Jagr not speaking to media following the win.
“He makes his presence felt in the locker room,” forward Jakub Konecny told reporters. “We have a lot of fun with him.”
Jagr previously said that he was hanging up the skates ahead of last season, after playing in just 18 games the season before.
Jagr made his debut for the Knights back in 1988 when he was just 16 years old before playing in the NHL for 24 seasons, including four with the Rangers (2005-08), and two with the Devils (2013-15).
After being released by the Flames in 2018, Jagr returned to the Knights and was serving as a player/owner before selling his majority stake in the team to help them out financially.
While serving in both roles, Jagr divided up his time between chasing sponsors and administrative duties, along with his time on the ice.
The Hall of Famer racked up 766 goals in the NHL, which is fourth all time in the league, and trails just Wayne Gretzky on the all-time points list.
Jagr is perhaps best known for his 11 seasons with the Penguins, where 1990 No. 5 overall draft pick won two Stanley Cups and a Hart Trophy for the 1998-99 season.
The eight-time All-Star played for nine teams during his NHL career.
