That’s what’s expected on tonight’s “Monday Night Raw” from Barclays Center, celebrating WWE’s one-year anniversary on Netflix.

Jericho’s contact with AEW reportedly expired at the end of 2025 and all signs point to him showing up in WWE at some point  — with even RAW general manager Adam Pearce using the phrase “break down the walls” in his hype video for the show on Instagram.

Jericho coming through the Upside Down as part of WWE’s collaboration with “Stranger Things” would certainly be something (he and Eddie Munson feel like they would get along).

This is the right move for all parties involved and if you are a die-hard AEW fan, you know it, too.

Jericho, 55, accomplished his mission there. He gave AEW invaluable star power and name recognition when Tony Khan and The Elite were getting the company off the ground in 2019 and then as its first world champion.

He helped build stars in MJF, Sammy Guevara, Orange Cassidy, and Daniel Garcia, among others. The company is in a much better place now, seven years later, thanks to his contributions.

But his time there has run its course. Jericho’s “Learning Tree” faction flopped and he could no longer keep up physically with the level of match required in AEW. Fans were chanting for him to “please retire” before he exited in June after dropping the Ring of Honor world championship to Bandido. The audience felt he was taking away screen time from younger stars.

If Jericho goes to WWE, he is not turning his back on AEW or showing he doesn’t believe in them, but recognizing it’s time to part ways and move to a different territory. There is nothing left for him to accomplish there.

Jericho is a WWE guy, let’s not forget, just like Cody Rhodes and CM Punk. He spent 14 years there on and off. A return gives him a fresh batch of goodwill from the WWE audience, who will be happy to see him and celebrate his return. The WWE match style is much more his speed at this point, with plenty of aging veterans still on the top of the card. Jericho just showed off a stunning body transformation and appears ready to return to the ring

It gives him a fresh batch of opponents and characters to work with. Jericho has never interacted with “Tribal Chief” Roman Reigns, L.A. Knight, Dominik Mysterio, Joe Hendry, Logan Paul or Bron Breakker, just to name a few. Just think of the good he could do creatively with some of them — especially Hendry, Knight and Paul. Jericho can still tap into things with Ethan Page, Rhodes, Punk or even cross over to TNA or NXT if he wants. The possibilities are endless.

I’d actually like to see Jericho do more than a year run, so he doesn’t have to retire at the Saudi Arabia WrestleMania next year. Saying goodbye at SummerSlam would be cool or maybe WWE gives him his own “Saturday Night’s Main Event” as they did with Goldberg and John Cena. There will certainly be a Hall of Fame induction in his future, too.

I trust Jericho to stick the landing on retirement because he has always been willing to speak up if he isn’t happy with the creative he’s given. If it’s dumb and doesn’t make sense, Triple H will hear it!

So here is hoping we hear the countdown, “break the walls down!” or “Judas” blaring through the speakers at Barclays Center on Monday.

It’s time for Chris Jericho to come home. Save your hate if you have any and drink it in, man.

Let’s be honest—no matter how stressful the day gets, a good viral video can instantly lift your mood. Whether it’s a funny pet doing something silly, a heartwarming moment between strangers, or a wild dance challenge, viral videos are what keep the internet fun and alive.
