The two forwards will likely end up playing for the team’s AHL affiliate, the Bridgeport Islanders, next season.

Foudy, who came to the Islanders as a free agent from the Predators last July, posted 20 goals and 25 assists in 70 games for Bridgeport last season.
An 18th-overall pick by the Blue Jackets in 2018, Foudy appeared in two games for the Islanders last season, as well.
Gauthier, a former Ranger, signed for $775,000 at the NHL level, per PuckPedia.
In nine games for Bridgeport last season, Gauthier collected three goals and five assists with a plus-two rating.

He also appeared in one game with the Islanders in 2024-25, a 4-3 shootout win over the Canadiens on Oct. 19.
