Is Whoopi Goldberg Still On ‘The View’?

There was a lot to unpack on this morning’s episode of The View — and one co-host was noticeably missing from the chat.

Whoopi Goldberg, who typically works Mondays through Thursdays, was not in her assigned seat this morning. Instead, Joy Behar — who is usually off on Mondays — stepped in as moderator to host a discussion about President Donald Trump‘s decision to bomb nuclear sites in Iran over the weekend, while Ana Navarro took over Behar’s spot at the center of the Hot Topics table.

Is Whoopi Goldberg still on The View?

Yes, Goldberg is still a co-host on The View! She was just missing from today’s episode. Behar addressed Goldberg’s absence at the top of this morning’s broadcast, revealing that the EGOT is in Italy accepting an award for her memoir Bits and Pieces: My Mother, My Brother, and Me.

“We are all jealous of Whoopi today because she’s in Italy. I hope it’s 100 degrees,” Behar joked. “She’s in Italy accepting an award for her book Bits and Pieces so she will be out this week.”
