Is ‘Saturday Night Live’ New Tonight? Here’s When The Next New Episode of ‘SNL’ Premieres on NBC

Saturday Night Live’s recent hiatus has given me a chance to catch up on a few SNL-related docs and podcasts.

If you’re a Peacock subscriber, Downey Wrote That, a one-hour doc about legendary comedy scribe Jim Downey, is an absolute must-stream, as is the sensational film Ladies & Gentlemen… 50 Years of SNL Music (also on Peacock). But I’d be a terrible member of Quaid Army if I didn’t mention my favorite podcast of 2025 and, if they play their cards right, possibly 2026: The Lonely Island and Seth Meyers Podcast.

Hosted by Three Alvins (aka Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer, and Jorma Taccone) and… I guess a Dave (?) (Seth Meyers), these four SNL alums lead this wildly entertaining podcast about friendship, the daily New York Times game Spelling Bee, and occasionally, The Lonely Island’s historic run of SNL Digital Shorts.

Thankfully, SNL’s run of repeats is coming to an end. Here’s when the next new episode of Saturday Night Live airs on NBC.

Is Saturday Night Live New Tonight (January 17)?

Yes! Stranger Things star Finn Wolfhard makes his SNL hosting debut tonight with musical guest A$AP Rocky.

Saturday Night Live 2026 Schedule:

  • January 31: Host Alexander Skarsgård with musical guest Cardi B

Let’s be honest—no matter how stressful the day gets, a good viral video can instantly lift your mood. Whether it’s a funny pet doing something silly, a heartwarming moment between strangers, or a wild dance challenge, viral videos are what keep the internet fun and alive.
