Is ‘Predator: Badlands’ Streaming on Netflix, Amazon Prime, or Hulu?

Everyone always asks “How do we kill Predator?” but no one thinks to ask “How is Predator?” Well, thanks to the new Predator movie opening in theaters this weekend, Predator: Badlands, that’s about to change.

Directed by Dan Trachtenberg—who also directed 2022’s Prey and the 2025 animated Predator: Killer of Killers movie—Predator: Badlands is the seventh film in the Predator franchise. Written by Patrick Aison and Brian Duffield, Predator: Badlands is a standalone story that, for once, makes Predator (played by Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi) the main character, rather than the villian. This particular Predator, a young being named Dex, is outcast from his clan on his home planet, and strikes up an alliance with an injured synth named Thia (Elle Fanning).

For Predator fans, this is an exciting chance to get to know and empathize with the Predator way of life. Just because they rip off heads and keeps them as trophies doesn’t mean they’re bad guys!

Predator: Badlands will no doubt be a fun one to watch in theaters, but if you’d rather wait to watch Predator: Badlands at home, read on to find out when and where we expect to be able to watch Predator: Badlands on streaming.

Is the Predator: Badlands movie streaming on Netflix or Amazon Prime?

Predator: Badlands is not streaming on Netflix right now. Predator: Badlands is a 20th Century Studios release, a studio owned by Disney, and therefore will likely go on to stream on one of the Disney-owned streamers, rather than on Netflix.

You will be able to purchase Predator: Badlands on Amazon Prime Video eventually, when the movie becomes available to buy and rent on digital, but you will not be able to stream Predator: Badlands on Prime Video free with a Prime subscription any time soon, because it is not a Prime original movie. If you want to watch Predator: Badlands movie at home, you’ll have to wait for the film to be available to buy or rent on digital platforms, or wait to stream it on Hulu or Disney+.

Predator: Badlands will likely stream on Hulu and Disney+ eventually. Predator is a 20th Century movie, a production company that has been owned by Disney since 2017. So you may eventually see Predator: Badlands stream on Disney+, or on the Disney-owned streamer, Hulu—or both. However, because Predator: Badlands is a PG-13 movie for adults, and because Disney+ is geared toward children, our guess would be that Predator: Badlands will come to Hulu only.

The Predator: Badlands Hulu streaming release date has not yet been announced, but we can make an educated guess as to when Predator: Badlands will stream on Hulu based on previous releases from 20th Century.

The Amateur, another 20th Century movie, was released on Hulu in the U.S. a little over three months after opening in theaters. If Predator: Badlands follows a similar release pattern, the movie might stream on Hulu and Disney+ around late January or early February 2026—in other words, a little over three months after the movie opened in theaters. That said, Hulu and Disney+ are expected to merge in 2026, so you might need to watch it on Disney+ instead.
