Indian newlyweds have ‘virtual’ wedding reception after flight canceled at last minute

A newly married couple attended their own wedding reception virtually after their flight was cancelled at the last minute.

With the hall fully decorated and arrangements in place, the bride’s family decided not to postpone the event.

Instead, the couple was displayed live on a huge screen so they could participate from hundreds of miles away.

The unusual reception took place on December 3 in Hubballi, Karnataka, India.

The video-link wedding reception was caused when their IndiGo flight was canceled.

It prevented friends and family – who were traveling via Mumbai – from reaching Hubballi in time for the celebration.

With guests already arriving and the event fully prepared, the bride’s parents took to the stage to represent the couple.

Medha and Sangama joined via video call, greeting attendees and even participating in some rituals remotely.

For Medha and Sangama, the reception became a unique mix of tradition and technology they would have never expected.

The family ensured that the evening remained festive and meaningful, turning a potential disaster into a digital celebration in the face of last-minute chaos.

Let’s be honest—no matter how stressful the day gets, a good viral video can instantly lift your mood. Whether it’s a funny pet doing something silly, a heartwarming moment between strangers, or a wild dance challenge, viral videos are what keep the internet fun and alive.
