HS football coach doesn’t recall NYC shooter Shane Tamura suffering more than ankle injury during senior year

The Park Avenue shooter’s high school football coach said Tuesday that he doesn’t recall Shane Tamura suffering anything more than an ankle injury during his senior year on the gridiron.

“I only remember an ankle. I remember it might have kept him out of one game, but something of that nature. I can’t remember if it was left or right,” Walter Roby told The Post Tuesday.

Tamura, who turned the gun on himself at the end of his deadly rampage, claimed in notes left behind that he suffered from CTE – a brain condition linked to repeated blows to the head.

“He was definitely that kid who would do whatever you wanted him to do,” Roby, 60, said. “He was quiet, humble. He knew his athletic ability but he wasn’t boastful about that.”
