How much are SEC Championship 2025 tickets for Georgia-Alabama?

An opportunity to punch a guaranteed ticket to the 2025 College Football Playoff is on the line this Saturday.

Starting at 4 p.m. ET on Dec. 6, Ty Simpson’s No. 9 Alabama Crimson Tide will go head-to-head with Gunner Stockton’s No. 3 Georgia Bulldogs in the 2025 SEC Championship at Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

As fans may recall, Alabama upset Georgia 24-21 on their home Sanford Stadium in week four of the season. The Crimson Tide outscored the Bulldogs 17-14 in a wild second quarter; over that 15-minute period, Simpson threw for a touchdown and ran one in.

That loss put legendary Georgia head coach Kirby Smart — who has led the team to multiple National Championship titles — 1-7 all-time against ‘bama.

“…what’s everybody else’s record against them? You got it? I don’t either. I don’t lose sleep over that because those games have been like championship-caliber games. Right?” the 49-year-old Montgomery, AL native quipped after the tough defeat.

The fact that the Crimson Tide have won all four SEC Championship games against Georgia only adds insult to injury.

This time around, the game may be a defensive battle. According to Sports Illustrated, “Georgia allows just 16.7 points per game while Alabama surrenders only 16.5 points per contest.”

ESPN College GameDay Host Rece Davis claimed that the Crimson Tide’s Simpson and receiver receiver Germie Bernard have yet to peak.

“I think Alabama’s got another gear on offense,” Davis noted. “I think they can elevate their game.”

A win would catapult Kalen DeBoer’s club into the CFP; a loss would leave them sitting on the bubble.

Georgia’s got the retaliatory fire; ‘bama needs a win to keep their season alive. This is must-watch college football and there’s nothing better than witnessing it live.
