How Many Episodes Of ‘Ironheart’ Will There Be?

Ironheart gave Marvel fans the chance to explore one of the many exciting new characters introduced in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. And after getting to explore a bit more of Riri Williams’ world, fans are looking for more.

Set after the events of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, the new Disney+ series follows Dominique Thorne as Riri, a young, genius inventor returning to her hometown of Chicago after her adventures in Wakanda. But her talent for building iron suits attracts the attention of the mysterious and dangerous Parker Robbins, also known as “The Hood,” played by Anthony Ramos.

The promising new series also includes Black Panther director Ryan Coogler as an executive producer. Coogler understood that the stakes for Riri are different as a superhero forging her own path in the Marvel universe.

It was very quickly realized that she was her own character in her own lane,” he told Marvel. “There’s a difference between [Riri] and maybe a Captain America or a Black Panther, where a mantle is being passed.”

The series only has six episodes. It debuted with a three-episode premiere on June 24, with three more episodes later released on July 1.

Ironheart has so far been described as a miniseries, which means it will have a limited amount of episodes and seasons – unless Marvel Studios decides to continue exploring Riri’s story.
