How Many Episodes are in ‘The Gilded Age’ Season 3?
The Gilded Age finally makes its glittering return to HBO and MAX tonight, after nearly two years off the air. The scintillating soap opera is set in New York City and Newport, Rhode Island during the late 19th century. It was a time when the rich were richer than ever before and the poor all the poorer. HBO’s The Gilded Age delves into how the new money represented by the Robber Barons and their families upended the the conservative culture of “old New York,” dominated by the descendants of the city’s early settlers.
When we last left The Gilded Age, Bertha Russell (Carrie Coon) had successfully opened the Metropolitan Opera, a rival meeting place for the city’s elite. Now, she’s got her sights set on nabbing a Duke for her beloved daughter Gladys (Taissa Farmiga).

Will There Be a Season 4 of The Gilded Age?
The Gilded Age is one of HBO’s most popular dramas, but does that necessarily mean it’s coming back for a fourth season?
Last week, DECIDER attended both a panel and a press conference for the Season 3 premiere. In both, when Gilded Age creator Julian Fellowes was asked about the possibility of a fourth season, he demurred.
“You have as much idea as we do, that I will say,” Fellowes said before getting cheeky. “I always love it though, as I was saying yesterday, you always ask these questions, knowing you’re not going to get a decent answer. And I never really quite understand why, unless it’s just the fun of us saying we’re not going tell you! But we don’t know either at the moment.”
Actress Denée Benton then made her appeal to the journalists in the room and watching over Zoom: “Please watch and help us.”
Want a Gilded Age Season 4? Watch Season 3 when it premieres tonight on HBO and MAX.
