A single gal’s dating app prompt asked those wanting to score a date with her to guess where one of her photos, which was of her posing in an inconspicuous baseball stadium, was.

While some lazy singles probably took a wild guess to answer correctly — one potential match supposedly was able to not only answer the prompt, but the obvious baseball fan figured out the date the photo was taken, which teams were playing that exact game and where the game was played.

When she responded, “Geez how’d you do that?” the detail-oriented guy walked her through his detective work.

Who knew a guy could have this in them?

Social media discovered this exchange thanks to X (formerly Twitter) user BaseballHistoryNut (@nut_history), who posted a screenshot of the exchange in a now-viral tweet praising the single guy’s work.

“This dude cracked the code on how to successfully slide into someone’s DMs. Take a second to read this, you won’t be disappointed,” the tweet read above the impressive exchange.

While some social media users applauded this guy — others thought this type of response would scare a girl away.

I mean this is funny as shit but 0% chance it worked,” wrote one skeptical person.

“This is my love language,” someone else shared.

“That’s a lot with no reply. Feel like this wouldn’t work at all,” quipped another person.

“And that kids, is how I met your mother,” joked another user.

It’s unclear whether these two singles ever went on a dat,e but fingers crossed for them.

In the bizarre digital dating world, this isn’t the first time in a dating app prompt men were asked to show off their skills in some way.

One woman asked on her dating app profile potential matches to show off their best best impersonation of actor Tim Allen’s grunts from the show “Home Improvement.”

If you’re scratching your head, confused about this ask, Allen’s character, Tim “The Tool Man” Taylor, was known for expressing himself through a very specific grunt sound on the popular 1990s sitcom.

Ask and you shall receive.

The hilarious prompt gave this single gal a slew of hilarious responses from men who gave their Allen impression their all, trying to win her over.

Let’s be honest—no matter how stressful the day gets, a good viral video can instantly lift your mood. Whether it’s a funny pet doing something silly, a heartwarming moment between strangers, or a wild dance challenge, viral videos are what keep the internet fun and alive.
