HGTV Meets Bachelor Nation in New Competition Series ‘Bachelor Mansion Takeover’
HGTV is stealing Bachelor Nation for a moment — well actually, for six episodes.
The network is launching Bachelor Mansion Takeover, a new competition series hosted by Bachelor host Jesse Palmer in which 12 alums from the ABC reality dating franchise will “swap roses for paintbrushes and cocktail attire for overalls in weekly elimination challenges” in order to give the iconic Bachelor Mansion a “dramatic makeover.”

Contestants include Dean Bell, Jill Chin, Noah Erb, Allyshia Gupta, Tammy Ly, Sandra Mason, Sam McKinney, Brendan Morais, Courtney Robertson Preciado, Jeremy Simon, Christopher Stallworth and Joan Vassos.
Fellow Bachelor Nation members Tayshia Adams (The Bachelor Season 23, Bachelor in Paradise Season 6, The Bachelorette Season 16) and Tyler Cameron (The Bachelorette Season 15) are set to judge, and will be joined by a guest judge in each episode.
As for what’s on the line, the winner will earn “bragging rights and a $100,000 cash prize,” per the network’s press release. A specific premiere date has yet to be announced, though the series will debut some time in 2026.
“When we learned the Bachelor Mansion needed a serious makeover, we knew only HGTV could give the iconic property a renovation worthy of the name,” said Howard Lee, Chief Creative Officer, US Networks, Warner Bros. Discovery. “We’re welcoming fan favorites and memorable cast members from throughout Bachelor history to the HGTV family and can’t wait to see what they get up to in this first of its kind competition for the network.”
This isn’t Palmer’s first partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery, who owns HGTV. He has also hosted several Food Network specials, including Spring Baking Championship and Holiday Baking Championship, the latter of which returns for Season 12 on Nov. 3. Palmer can currently be seen hosting Season 2 of The Golden Bachelor, led by 66-year-old Mel Owens.
People was the first to report the news of the new series.
