Here’s what the Giants are looking for in their next head coach

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. — If it was as easy as Mike Vrabel is making it look, owners around the NFL would fire and hire new head coaches with even more regularity than they currently discard one guy and welcome in another.

The thing is, if candidates with Vrabel’s résumé and cachet became available more often, there would be fewer openings and this tiresome cycle would not be put in motion with such alarming regularity.

If there was a Vrabel out there this time around, it would be easy for the Giants to identify him, prioritize him, interview him, make an offer to him and pay him riches to reenergize their entire football operation. Hiring Mike Vrabel was easy for the Patriots. Finding the next Mike Vrabel figures to be exceedingly difficult for the Giants.

This is what general manager Joe Schoen is tasked with doing, handed that assignment after co-owners John Mara and Steve Tisch dismissed Brian Daboll 10 games into this season, with the Giants winning only two of those 10 games. Schoen on Monday night will be in attendance at Gillette Stadium to get a look at what all the fuss is about with the rejuvenated New England franchise, heavy favorites at 10-2 to win their 10th consecutive game and hand the Giants (2-10) their seventh straight loss.

Let’s be honest—no matter how stressful the day gets, a good viral video can instantly lift your mood. Whether it’s a funny pet doing something silly, a heartwarming moment between strangers, or a wild dance challenge, viral videos are what keep the internet fun and alive.
