“It just felt good … just if there are any [worms or parasites], then I hope that they were leaving the body, because I hear so many people talk about this all the time,” she added.

Klum, 52, shared she was thankful that Kaulitz, 36, joined her for the cleanse, saying, “It’s easier to do this with a partner in the morning because you have to drink this weird stuff.”

“It’s all herbal, but nonetheless it’s yucky and you have to do this routine of doing it every day in order to kill it in all of the eggs, apparently,” she explained.

“You have to do two rounds instead of two weeks. We did two rounds in order to hopefully kill eggs and things. But yeah, we felt great afterwards.”

Klum gave an update on the results after sharing she and Kaulitz were “going to deworm and de-parasite for the first time” during an interview with the Wall Street Journal in August.

At the time, she shared that she got the idea after seeing information about worms and parasites on Instagram.

The “Project Runway” host stated that she hadn’t done the cleanse before, despite hearing she should do it once a year.

“I don’t know what the heck is going to come out,” Klum said.

The TV personality was asked whether she knew if she or Kaulitz had parasites.

“Apparently, we all have parasites and worms. If you are someone who eats raw things every now and then, like, for example, sushi,” she said, explaining that you can get rid of them with herbal supplements.

A New York-based gastroenterologist, however, warned against Klum’s statements.

“Not all people have parasites and worms as part of their normal microbiome,” Dr. David Purow told The Post, explaining, “There are no clear, proven benefits to these cleanses.”

The medical professional also warned against using herbs because high doses “can cause liver damage.”
