A wild new NYPD video shows the moment cops chased down and arrested a 20-year-old man who was carrying a pair of loaded guns through the sidewalks and streets of the borough last week.
The 47th Precinct Quality of Life team officers responded to an alert of shots fired at 3800 Baychester Avenue around 5 a.m. on Nov. 3 when they spotted Victor Lyle walking out of a park.

When one of the officers called out to him, “Come here real quick,” Lyle, dressed in a black vest and red sweat suit, broke into a sprint.
“Chase him! Chase him!” an officer shouted as Lyle high-tailed it away, the officer’s bodycam footage speeding up as he hoofed it in an all-out effort to catch the gunman.
The action-packed chase weaved from the sidewalk into the empty early-morning streets as the perp tried to outpace the officer.
After commanding him to “Drop it! Drop it now!” the officer caught up to Lyle after crossing a street and pushed him to the ground.
“He’s reaching! He’s reaching! Be careful, he’s got his gun in his pocket,” a cop could be heard yelling as they apprehended the suspect.
The officer who ran after him could be heard taking deep breaths when the chase was over, as multiple officers held down Lyle and cuffed him.
The drama didn’t end there.
The police then turned Lyle over, and with a flashlight pointed at his chest, unzipped his vest, revealing not one, but two illegal loaded guns inside his pockets, which they promptly confiscated.
“That’s two,” an officer can be heard saying, counting the number of firearms Lyle had on him.
Both guns were recovered and Lyle was slapped with charges including weapons possession, possession of an ammo feed device, obstruction of government administration and resisting arrest.
He had no prior arrests, according to authorities.
