The actress, 52, has long made headlines for her approach to diet and exercise.

She went viral in March 2023 for broadcasting her daily wellness routine, which horrified fans, fellow celebrities and medical professionals alike.

With an IV in her arm, the Goop founder explained on the “Art of Being Well” podcast at the time that she fancied “a nice intermittent fast.”

She began her day with coffee, as it “won’t spike [her] blood sugar,” and abstained from eating until about noon.

Paltrow went on to say that she loves soup and had “bone broth for lunch a lot the days.”

The “Se7en” star followed up the light fare with “one hour of movement” in the form of a walk, Pilates or a Tracy Anderson workout.

Paltrow then dry brushed in the sauna for 30 minutes and enjoyed a vegetable-heavy dinner in line with foods consumed during the Paleolithic era to “support [her] detox.”

Critics were quick to condemn the mega-famous star — not only for her restrictive patterns but also for sharing them with the world.

Following the backlash, the mother of two doubled down on her lifestyle and offered an explanation, saying she suffers from “long COVID” and “very high levels of inflammation.”

The self-proclaimed health and wellness guru shared at the time that her diet included “lots of cooked vegetables,” “all kinds of protein” and “healthy carbs” to combat the inflammation.

Though she claimed her eating plan was “working really well” for her, she insisted that her “transparent” interview about it was “not meant to be advice for anyone else.”

Two years later, Paltrow ditched her Paleo diet after getting “obsessed with eating very, very healthily.”

While being “hardcore macrobiotic” was an “interesting chapter” for the Oscar winner, she admitted to her “Goop Podcast” listeners in April that she “might have got[ten] a little didactical” about her diet and been “a little strict.”

After getting “a little bit sick of it,” Paltrow got “back into eating sourdough bread, cheese … and a little pasta.”

However, the “Shakespeare in Love” star did call the Paleo diet a “good template” for “eating foods that are as whole and fresh as possible” as well as “very local and seasonal.”

Let’s be honest—no matter how stressful the day gets, a good viral video can instantly lift your mood. Whether it’s a funny pet doing something silly, a heartwarming moment between strangers, or a wild dance challenge, viral videos are what keep the internet fun and alive.
