Gwyneth Paltrow made her inner circle compete for premiere tickets, biographer reveals

Gwyneth Paltrow made her inner circle of friends compete for tickets to her movie premieres, according to “Gwyneth” biography author Amy Odell.

In an exclusive interview with Page Six Radio Thursday, Odell explained how stars will traditionally get “four tickets” for a premiere, but Paltrow had five close friends within her inner circle.

“She would have an entourage and fly around on the private plane if she’s going to film festivals, promoting a movie, whatever she may be doing,” she told hosts Evan Real and Danny Murphy.

In an interview with Page Six Radio, Odell claimed stars typically get four tickets to premieres, but Paltrow had at least five friends in her circle.

The “observation” from one of her sources was that Paltrow “seemed to play her friends off of each other for the tickets.”

“Other people described to me how to stay in the good graces of somebody like that — I’m sure this is not unique to Gwyneth as a big star — you have to be willing to drop what you’re doing and go hang out with them,” she explained.

Elsewhere in Odell’s writing, she also revealed the Goop founder’s alleged nasty nickname for her former friend-turned-enemy, Winona Ryder.

Paltrow, 52, allegedly started calling her ex-pal “Vagina Ryder” after suspecting the “Stranger Things” actress was making up stories for attention in the 1990s.

Odell claimed the duo’s fallout happened shortly after Paltrow split from Brad Pitt — whom she dated from 1994 to 1997 — and moved into Ryder’s New York City apartment.

At the time, Paltrow had moved on with Ben Affleck, while the “Edward Scissorhands” star, 53, was dating the “Good Will Hunting” star’s longtime close pal Matt Damon.

In the biography, Odell claimed on at least two occasions, Ryder and Damon got into a fight and she rushed to tell him she had been robbed.

However, Paltrow wasn’t buying Ryder’s story and believed she made the whole ordeal up to seek attention.

“Damon consoled her, but Gwyneth and Affleck believed Ryder fabricated the robberies as a ploy for attention (there’s no proof of this),” Odell wrote.

“Gwyneth was annoyed that Damon couldn’t see it. Though Damon was kind to her friends, Gwyneth didn’t seem to like him after that.”

“Her friendship with Ryder would only deteriorate further, and Gwyneth gave her the nickname ‘Vagina Ryder,’” Odell claimed.
