The actress confessed to British Vogue in an interview published Wednesday that she gets made fun of for not “know[ing] anything,” revealing she praised the 29-year-old for being involved with “a young woman who has two kids.”
Paltrow, 53, explained, “I was like, ‘That’s so cool. I really love to hear that [from] a young man like you.’ I understand a 45-year-old who has his own kids going out with a woman with kids, but it’s a cool choice [for him].
“I respect it,” she added. “I think it’s kind of punk rock.”
The Goop founder, notably, had two kids of her own — daughter Apple, 21, and son Moses, 19 — when she started dating now-husband Brad Falchuk.
Paltrow confessed that she “didn’t know [it was] Kylie Jenner” Chalamet has been linked to since 2023.
The “Kardashians” star co-parents daughter Stormi, 7, and son Aire, 3, with her ex-boyfriend Travis Scott.
Since splitting from Scott and moving on with Chalamet, Jenner and the Golden Globe nominee have kept their love life private over the years.
The reality star even waited until this summer to follow her partner on Instagram.
The “Dune: Messiah” star still does not follow Jenner — or anyone — back on the social media platform.
Jenner has refrained from talking about Chalamet in many interviews, explaining to British Vogue in August 2024 that “privacy is so important to” her and “feels so good.”
The following June, she told Dazed about finding a “good balance with sharing.”
The duo did, however, make their red carpet debut the month prior for the David di Donatello Awards in Rome.
Their most recent public outings include a New York Yankees game and the New York Film Festival premiere for “Marty Supreme.”
Chalamet and Paltrow began filming the movie last year, with photos surfacing of the co-stars locking lips in a steamy scene.
The snaps made headlines — as well as waves in Paltrow’s “mom group texts,” she quipped on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” in November 2024.
“[My messages] were on fire. It was pretty funny,” the Oscar winner said at the time.
“Marty Supreme” hits theaters Dec. 25.
