Fieri, the “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” host and self-proclaimed Mayor of Flavortown, has thrown three large-scale Super Bowl tailgates since 2023, in Phoenix, Las Vegas and New Orleans.

The chef and TV personality told SFGATE how amazed he was by the turnout at his inaugural Flavortown Tailgate in Phoenix for Super Bowl LVII.

“We drive in, and there’s six people wide, a mile long,” Fieri said.

“I call my team, and I’m like, ‘Are you gonna open the gates? I see all these people standing out in the heat,’” he continued, noting that his team responded that the event had already been open for an hour.

“It was really amazing. I wish everybody could go to the Super Bowl, but this is going to be a way for them to see it.”

The event is less about watching the game and more about “that Super Bowl energy,” Fieri added.

The bash will feature live performances by Loud Luxury and Tucker Wetmore, as well as a lineup of “dozens of curated food and beverage experiences” to be revealed soon, according to the event’s website.

A “Built in the Bay” zone will include fare from four area restaurants and two cocktail bars.

Attendance is free, though guests need to register for tickets. Children under the age of 13 do not require a ticket.

Those craving a VIP experience can snag exclusive tickets ranging from $50 to $1,000.

Guests willing to shell out $1,000 will benefit from prime views of the main performance stage, free appetizers and eats curated by Fieri himself, a four-hour open bar and access to a VIP lounge.

In November, Fieri said he was rushed to emergency surgery after missing a set of steps and tearing his quad muscle in half.

The chef explained that he was in the middle of filming his new show, “Flavor Town Food Fight,” when the fall and surgery happened.

He predicted the injury would would keep him off his feet for eight weeks, after which he would go into a cast and then rehab his quad.

Let’s be honest—no matter how stressful the day gets, a good viral video can instantly lift your mood. Whether it’s a funny pet doing something silly, a heartwarming moment between strangers, or a wild dance challenge, viral videos are what keep the internet fun and alive.
