Gov. Gavin Newsom trolls Trump with phony new health update

California Gov. Gavin Newsom shared a bogus medical report in his latest attempt to troll President Donald Trump that labeled him the “healthiest human currently alive” and lavished praise on his arteries and resting heart rate.
“His bone density is exceptional (a radiologist briefly wondered if we’d scanned a redwood), and his brain imaging showed no issues other than an unusually active region associated with intelligence, multitasking and being wildly productive before sunrise,” read the phony report, posted on X by Newsom’s press office.

The report follows a memo by Trump’s physician, Dr. Sean Barbabella, indicating that the 79-year-old president is in “excellent overall health.”
Barbabella’s memo, dated Monday, said that advanced imaging of Trump’s heart and abdomen, described as “preventative,” were “perfectly normal” amid speculation about the president’s health. Trump told reporters Monday that he would release the results of an October MRI conducted at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.
Trump has been diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency, a blood circulation issue, and has been spotted with a recurring bruise on his hand, which officials chalked up to frequent hand-shaking.
Newsom, who’s widely expected to launch a 2028 presidential bid, has positioned himself as a top Trump antagonist and social media troll known to parrot the president’s habits.
The fake report alluded to recent viral footage appearing to show Trump nodding off during an Oval Office meeting and swaying while walking.
“If a side-by-side health chart were released, we’d recommend redacting it for the President’s emotional well-being,” read the report, signed “Dr. Doolittle” of the “Department of Peak Excellence.”
Newsom’s needling of Trump has won praise from liberals desperate to undercut the president ahead of critical midterm elections next year that could hand Congress back to Democrats for the remaining two years of Trump’s term.
Let’s be honest—no matter how stressful the day gets, a good viral video can instantly lift your mood. Whether it’s a funny pet doing something silly, a heartwarming moment between strangers, or a wild dance challenge, viral videos are what keep the internet fun and alive.
