Gigi Hadid posts photos of daughter Khai for her 5th birthday

Gigi Hadid is celebrating her daughter Khai’s fifth birthday with a rare look into her young life.

The supermodel took to Instagram Stories on Friday to share a photo of Khai — whom she shares with ex Zayn Malik — rocking a pair of baby blue and brown chaps and bubble gum pink cowboy boots.

She accessorized the look with a classic denim jacket and wore her long hair in braids, as Hadid crouched down and looked on proudly. “My girl is 5 today,” the Guest in Residence designer wrote atop the pic, adding a teary faced emoji.

“Happy birthday to my greatest love & gift,” she added.

In a throwback slide, Hadid, 30, showed off her growing baby bump in a white crop top and unbuttoned jeans for a photoshoot. “Khai loading….” she captioned the snap.

Another photo showed Hadid glowing in a black and white maternity photo from the shoot, writing, “So lucky to be your mama.”

In another sweet snapshot, the mom of one hoisted Khai on her hip during a mother-daughter outing back in October 2023. Hadid — who has carefully kept her daughter from the public eye — kept Khai’s face hidden or turned away in each photo.

“The supermodel and One Direction alum, 32, welcomed Khai in September 2020, with the new dad taking to social media with a tender announcement.

“Our baby girl is here, healthy & beautiful,” he wrote via X, alongside a photo of his own hand holding the infant’s tiny fingers.

He continued, “To try put into words how i am feeling right now would be an impossible task. The love i feel for this tiny human is beyond my understanding.Grateful to know her, proud to call her mine, & thankful for the life we will have together x.”

The former couple parted ways in October 2021 amid an alleged physical altercation between the musician and Gigi’s mother Yolanda Hadid, 61.

Khai’s birthday photos come nearly six months after Gigi — who is currently dating 50-year-old “Silver Linings Playbook” star Bradley Cooper — shared that despite her failed romance with Malik, the hitmaker and model continue to navigate co-parenting their daughter with “love, and a feeling of camaraderie.”

“Zayn and I do our custody schedules months in advance,” the Maybelline spokesmodel told Vogue for a cover story in March. “That doesn’t mean that it doesn’t change here and there, but we help each other out and have each other’s backs.”

She added, “What we are interested in is raising our daughter together, with so much respect for each other, and not just as co-­parents, but what we’ve been through together.”
