Ghislaine Maxwell lauds cushy prison for cleanliness, lack of animals falling from ceiling

Convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell is “happier” behind bars at a minimum-security prison in Texas — which is cleaner and without any “possums falling from the ceiling” of the kitchen’s jail, she boasted.

Maxwell, 63, was particularly fond of the cleanliness of the kitchen at Federal Prison Camp Bryan in Texas — and its lack of marsupial-cooking, emails obtained by the House Judiciary Committee and leaked to NBC News revealed.

Maxwell was sent to the downy-soft facility Aug. 1, after serving four years of her 20-year sentence at the Federal Correctional Institution Tallahassee in Florida.

“The kitchen looks clean too — no possums falling from the celling [sic] to fry unfortunately on ovens, and become mingled with the food being served,” she wrote, insinuating there was a traumatic and disgusting cooking death in the kitchen of FCI Tallahassee.

“The institution is run in an orderly fashion which makes for a safer more comfortable environment for all people concerned, inmates and guards alike,” Maxwell wrote in another letter, the network reported.

“I feel like I have dropped through Alice in Wonderlands [sic] looking glass,” Maxwell wrote to a relative, NBC News reported.

“I am much happier here and more importantly safe,” she proclaimed, adding, “So yes everyone can breath [sic] a sigh.”

Late pedophile Jeffrey Epstein’s madam also touted the absence of drug deals, fights, and unruly naked inmates, implying such conditions were rampant at FCI Tallahassee.

The convict heaped praise on the prison’s warden Tanisha Hall, writing, “She is a true professional and the best representative of the [Bureau of Prisons] I have met.”

Other Maxwell missives indicate she has personal access to the warden to ask for help arranging visits and communicating with her lawyers.

“Helloo.. I spoke to the Warden about the problem with the mail telling her that the documents have not arrived yet and now we are on day 7,” she said in a Sept. 16 email to her attorney, according to the report.

“Her creative solution was that you EM/scan it to her and she will scan back my changes! Of course that is fantastic as it saves days and days,” Maxwell wrote.

The House Judiciary Committee’s inquiry, led by Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD), also uncovered emails from other inmates who blasted FPC Bryan for giving Maxwell “VIP treatment,” the report stated.

Epstein’s madam has meals sent to her dormitory room and is allowed to workout and shower late at night after other inmates have gone to bed, NBC News reported.

Further, other inmates are allegedly not allowed to prepare Maxwell’s meals, one unidentified prisoner wrote in an email obtained by the House Judiciary Committee.

Maxwell’s attorney, David Markus, slammed the report.

“There’s nothing journalistic about publishing a prisoner’s emails, including ones with her lawyers,” attorney David Markus told The Post.

“That’s tabloid behavior, not responsible reporting. Anyone still interested in that kind of gossip reveals far more about themselves than about Ghislaine. It’s time to get over the fact that she is in a safer facility,” he wrote, adding, “We should want that for everyone.”

Maxwell was moved to Camp Bryan just days after a meeting with President Trump’s Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche for nine hours over two days to discuss her personal history with Jeffrey Epstein.

Last month, the Supreme Court rejected Maxwell’s attempt to appeal her criminal conviction.

Epstein victim Virginia Giuffre claimed in her posthumous memoir that Maxwell boasted about performing a sex-act on George Clooney in a bathroom at “some random event.”

The Bureau of Prisons did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
