He returned Sunday to face the Browns but landed on the knee when trying to make a catch and exited the game.
Jets coach Aaron Glenn said Wilson was undergoing evaluations on Monday and would not say if he can play against the Patriots on Thursday.
ESPN reported that Wilson will miss 3-4 weeks and has a knee sprain.
Glenn would not say how long he thought Wilson would be out.

“We go through that whole process as far as imaging,” Glenn said. “Get him checked up by the doctors before we really stamp like what the issue is, so again hopefully he’ll be good to be able to play this week, but I don’t want to stamp that just yet.”
Wilson was riding a stationary bike on the sideline after the doctors examined him during the game but Glenn said that does not indicate anything.
“I want to see exactly what the docs say before I stamp anything as far as that, but usually when you have that situation adrenaline is going during the game, but after the game everything kind of slows down and again I want to see what the docs say,” Glenn said.
