Frail-looking Joe Biden spotted dining at Virginia Italian eatery ahead of Election Day

Former President Joe Biden was spotted dining out in Northern Virginia on Sunday with his old Pentagon chief, Lloyd Austin. 

Biden, 82, was flanked by Secret Service agents as he slowly made his way through the outdoor patio of Carbonara, an Italian restaurant in deep-blue Arlington, Va., video posted on social media showed. 

Some surprised diners gasped and applauded when they saw the former president amble into the restaurant. 

Biden, who was seated across from Austin and an unidentified woman inside the restaurant, dined on shrimp wrapped in bacon, capellini pasta and tiramisu, according to local outlet WUSA9. 

The 46th president completed a weeks-long course of radiation therapy last month for Stage 4 prostate cancer at the Penn Medicine Radiation Oncology in Philadelphia. 

Biden, who turns 83 later this month, was diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer that had metastasized to the bone in May. 

As he did during his first public outing since his office announced he started radiation therapy last month, the former president looked noticeably frail heading to the dinner table on Sunday. 

“His walking was lurchy and arms barely swung,” conservative influencer Paul Szypula wrote on X, commenting on Biden’s latest public appearance. 

“It’s a reminder of how [mainstream media] and Democrats blatantly lied about his ability to serve,” Szypula added. 

“Everyone who said this man could serve 4 more years should be endlessly ridiculed,” another social media user tweeted. 

The video of Biden appears to show the former president take a slight misstep as he entered the patio, prompting one X user to tweet: “The very definition of FEEBLE! And he almost tripped over NOTHING.”

Rich Staropoli, a former Secret Service agent, argued that taxpayers should not be on the hook for Biden’s security detail. 

“It’s a shame that the Secret Service has to waste resources providing a protective detail to this buffoon,” Staropoli wrote on X. “He needs a nurse, not a Secret Service detail.” 

“He stole enough money – let him pay for his own security.” 

Biden’s dinner with Austin came days after the House Oversight Committee released a bombshell report finding the former president’s “inner circle” took steps to “meticulously stage-manage” his public appearances, lighten his private workload, and even block lawmakers from talking to him.

Dozens of Biden’s executive actions “cannot all be deemed his own” after his closest advisers “went to great lengths to prop up” the 46th president as he suffered physical and cognitive decline in office, the report concluded.
