‘Final Destination: Bloodlines’ Comes to Digital, But When Will the New Final Destination Movie Be Streaming on HBO Max?
The sixth Final Destination movie, Final Destination Bloodlines, was a hit in theaters, and now has a chance to make even more money when it releases on digital platforms tomorrow. It doesn’t matter how many years go by, audiences still love to see Death claiming her victims through a series of improbable, convoluted, and very bloody accidents.
Directed by Zach Lipovsky and Adam Stein, Final Destination Bloodlines is a direct sequel to the fourth movie in the franchise, 2009’s The Final Destination. Kaitlyn Santa Juana stars as Stefani Reyes, a college student who realizes that she and her family never should have existed, because their grandparents cheated death. Now, that b–ch destiny is coming to claim her rightful victims.

Also starring Teo Briones, Richard Harmon, Owen Patrick Joyner, Rya Kihlstedt, Anna Lore, Brec Bassinger, and Final Destination mainstay Tony Todd, Final Destination Bloodlines promises even more elaborate, Mouse Trap-esque freak accidents. The film has made over $271 million worldwide in theaters so far, and now Warner Bros. hopes to make even more money with the “premium” video-on-demand release. But before you spend $20 to rent Final Destination Bloodlines at home, here’s what we know about when Final Destination Bloodlines will be streaming free on HBO Max.

Final Destination Bloodlines will be available to buy or rent on digital platforms on Tuesday, June 17 at 12 a.m. Eastern Time (which is also 9 p.m. Pacific Time on Monday, June 16). You’ll be able to buy and rent digitally on Amazon Prime, Apple TV, Fandango At Home, and more. The price may vary depending on which platform you use to purchase the film, but on Amazon Prime the movie will cost $24.99 to buy, and $19.99 to rent. Final Destination Bloodlines is not yet available on a subscription-based streaming service, but we do expect to see the Final Destination Bloodlines movie streaming on Max, free to Max subscribers eventually, because Final Destination Bloodlines is a Warner Bros. movie, and Max is the streamer owned by Warner Bros.
If you’re new to Max, you can sign up for as low as $9.99/month with ads, but an ad-free subscription will cost $16.99/month.
If you want to stream even more and save a few bucks a month while you’re at it, we recommend subscribing to one of the discounted Disney+ Bundles with Hulu and Max. With ads, the bundle costs $16.99/month and without ads, $29.99/month.
When will Final Destination Bloodlines be streaming on HBO Max?
The Final Destination Bloodlines movie Max streaming release date on has not yet been announced yet, but we can make an educated guess based on previous releases. Mickey 17 for example, was released on PVOD about one month after opening in theaters, and began streaming on Max a little under three months after it was released in theaters. If Final Destination Bloodlines follows a similar release pattern, you may see the movie streaming on Max around early August 2025.
But that’s pure speculation. The Warner Bros. home releases have varied by title. In the meantime, you can always watch Final Destination Bloodlines by buying or renting the movie online.
