Joe, who played pop star Shane Gray in the 2008 Disney Channel musical, sang “Gotta Find You” as he and brothers Nick Jonas and Kevin Jonas kicked off their 20th anniversary tour at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford over the weekend.
He then invited Lovato, who portrayed Mitchie Torres in the movie, to join him onstage.
The “Sorry Not Sorry” singer, 32, and Joe, 35, went on to perform the “Camp Rock” tracks “Wouldn’t Change a Thing” and “This Is Me.”
After wrapping the latter, the DNCE frontman told the screaming crowd that he and Lovato hadn’t performed the track for “almost 10 years” — and she claimed it “might have been longer.”
The “Heart Attack” songstress then took to social media and shared an Instagram Reel with Joe, whom she dated in 2010.
In the clip, the pop stars lip-synced to fellow Disney actress Debby Ryan’s iconic “Sat Down with the President of Disney Channel” speech.
“For the history books @joejonas,” Lovato captioned the upload.
The post even garnered support from Lovato’s husband, Jordan “Jutes” Lutes, who commented, “😂😂😂👏👏👏👏.”
The 34-year-old also shared a video via Instagram Stories of his wife walking on stage for her epic performance.
“couldn’t be more proud. I love you sooo much baby @ddlovato,” the musician wrote atop the clip.
Lutes then posted a photo of himself passionately kissing Lovato in an elevator.
Joe and Lovato went public with their short-lived romance in March 2010, two years after playing onscreen love interests.
Reports surfaced two months later that they had broken up.
Despite their split, the former Disney stars remained cordial and reunited on several occasions, including performing together at a concert in 2016.
Joe went on to marry actress Sophie Turner in a 2019 Las Vegas wedding.
The musician and the “Game of Thrones” alum, 29, welcomed two daughters before divorcing in 2024.
Meanwhile, Lovato and Jutes tied the knot in a romantic California wedding ceremony in May.
