Ex-porn star Austin Wolf to plead guilty to child porn charges

Former porn star Austin Wolf plans to plead guilty Friday to child porn charges as he appears in court in Manhattan, his lawyers said.

The adult star, real name Justin Heath Smith, has been held in custody since he was arrested a year ago for allegedly exchanging hundreds of child porn videos — including one showing a 10-year-old child being bound and raped.

The 43-year-old “intends to plead guilty to a mandatory minimum charge with a significant advisory range” under sentencing guidelines, his attorney, Thomas H. Andrykovitz, wrote in a court filing.

Smith was initially due to appear in Manhattan Federal Court on Wednesday, but it was extended until Friday to “fully prepare” for his guilty plea, court filings show.

Prosecutor Getzel Berger previously described him as a “danger to children online, danger to children offline, danger to children everywhere.”

The ex-porn star is accused of trading horrific videos — including the one of the raped 10-year-old — with an anonymous target of an FBI probe on the encrypted app Telegram, authorities said at his arraignment in June last year.

An undercover FBI agent then used that person’s Telegram account to chat with Smith and confirm his identity, court papers said.

The feds raided Smith’s Manhattan apartment in April 2024 and found around 200 videos containing child porn on an SD card inside the adult film star’s computer room, the complaint alleges.

Smith has been held without bail in Brooklyn’s troubled Metropolitan Detention Center since his arraignment nearly a year ago.

He is charged with one count each of distribution and receipt of child pornography and possession of child pornography.
