Eric Dane’s estranged wife enjoys makeout session with billionaire as actor battles ALS

Rebecca Gayheart isn’t slowing down her love life – even as her estranged husband, Eric Dane, continues his devastating battle with ALS.
The “Jawbreaker” actress, 54, was spotted locking lips with billionaire Hard Rock Café co-founder Peter Morton, 78, during a PDA-packed date night in Beverly Hills this week.

Gayheart and Morton, who have been linked since 2023, held hands, hugged and kissed outside the pricey Italian hotspot E-Baldi on Wednesday.
At one point, the “Urban Legend” star leaned her head on Morton’s shoulder before wrapping an arm around him and going in for a full makeout session.
The outing comes at a complicated time for the actress, who remains legally married to Dane, 53, despite separating in 2018.
The pair unexpectedly dismissed their pending divorce in March, just weeks before the “Euphoria” star revealed he had been diagnosed with ALS.
Dane, who is now forced to use a wheelchair, has spoken openly about how the neurodegenerative condition has already severely impaired his right arm and continues to progress.
He described the diagnosis as “humbling” and admitted that he’s had to rethink his life as the illness advances.
But despite Gayheart’s new romance, Dane has praised her as his “biggest champion” throughout his health crisis.
“I call Rebecca. I talk to her every day,” the “Grey’s Anatomy” alum said during his first interview after his shocking ALS diagnosis. “We have managed to become better friends and better parents.”
The former couple shares two daughters, Billie, 15, and Georgia, 13, and has maintained a close-knit co-parenting relationship despite ending their marriage years ago.
Gayheart recently called their dynamic “super complicated” and noted that while the romance is long gone, the family bond remains intact.
“I am definitely trying to show [my daughters] that we show up for people no matter what,” she said on the Broad Ideas podcast last month. “And he is our family, he is your father.”
“We show up, and we try to do it with some dignity and some grace and just get through it, and that we will get through it the best we can,” Gayheart added at the time. “I mean, it’s super complicated for me.”
Dane, meanwhile, opened up about the emotional toll that his devastating ALS diagnosis has taken on him during a virtual panel with I AM ALS on Tuesday.
“I have no reason to be in a good spirit at any time, on any given day, I don’t think anybody would blame me if I went upstairs in my bedroom, crawled under the sheets, and spent the next two weeks crying,” Dane, who serves as an ambassador for the nonprofit advocacy organization, shared.
“And I was a little bit pleasantly surprised when I realized that I wasn’t built like that,” he added, “because I thought for sure that was gonna be me.”
As for his love life, Dane was linked to filmmaker Janell Shirtcliff back in June. The pair were spotted on a date night in West Hollywood.
“The two have been in an on-and-off relationship for over three years and care deeply for each other,” an insider claimed at the time. “Eric asked Janell to be there for him during this time, and she wanted to show up for him.”
