Eagles make decision on Kevin Patullo after crushing playoff loss
The Eagles are once again looking for a new offensive coordinator.
Philadelphia stripped Kevin Patullo of his offensive coordinator duties on Tuesday after just one season on the job, the team announced, although the team is seemingly open to keeping him on the coaching staff.

“I have decided to make a change at offensive coordinator,” Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni said in a statement. “I met with Kevin today to discuss the difficult decision, as he is a great coach who has my utmost respect. He has been integral to this team’s success over the last five years, not only to the on-field product but behind the scenes as a valued leader for our players and organization. I have no doubt he will continue to have a successful coaching career.
“Ultimately, when we fall short of our goals that responsibility lies on my shoulders.”

Starting as a pass game coordinator, Patullo has been on the Eagles staff since 2021, which was Sirianni’s first year at the helm.
The Eagles will now hire their fifth offensive coordinator in five years after Shane Steichen and Kellen Moore left for head coaching jobs and the team fired Brian Johnson two years ago.
After a Super Bowl-winning campaign a year ago, Philly’s offense struggled this season.
The Eagles finished 19th in total points scored and 24th in total yards during the regular season.
They had finished top-10 in both categories in each of the past three seasons.
Quarterback Jalen Hurts seemingly took a step back under Patullo, posting his worst completion rate (64.8 percent), success rate (43.2 percent) and quarterback rating (55.8) in four years.
The Eagles run game also cratered.
After running for over 2,000 yards in 2024, star ball carrier Saquon Barkley went for just 1,140 yards on the ground in the same amount of games.
Philadelphia was upset by the 49ers on their home field on Sunday during the wild-card round, getting knocked out of the postseason after a 23-19 loss.
