‘DWTS’ judge Carrie Ann Inaba apologizes to Danielle Fishel for body comment

“Dancing With the Stars” judge Carrie Ann Inaba is apologizing for commenting on contestant Danielle Fishel’s body.
During last Tuesday’s show, Inaba’s critique of Fishel and pro partner Pasha Pashkov’s routine included a remark about the actress being a “tiny, little woman” who should “use the space” around her when she dances.

Before stepping out into the ballroom this Tuesday, Fishel admitted in a confessional that the words stuck with her.
“I am a tiny, little woman, but she’s big on the inside — more powerful — so I need to unleash her more often,” the “Boy Meets World” star, 44, acknowledged.
However, she pointed out that “it doesn’t come naturally to be flailing [her] 5-foot-1 body around the [dance] floor.”
Pashkov — who has called out Inaba for her “unfair” criticism of Fishel in the past — also took the judge’s feedback to heart, saying that their contemporary choreography for this week “is the perfect style to put [that] into action.”
After their performance, Inaba took a moment to revisit her “tiny, little woman” comment.
“I would like to apologize for my words if they hurt you at all because I didn’t mean that at all,” she told Fishel during judging.
“You are small, but you do pack a punch, and that’s why I can say it, because I believe in you, OK?”
Fishel assured Ibana, 57, that she was “not” offended by the remark.
Despite Inaba’s praise for their dance, Fishel and Pashkov, 39, were ultimately voted out of the competition.
Fishel’s “Boy Meets World” co-stars recently questioned whether the “DWTS” judges — specifically, Inaba — had “a personal vendetta” against her.
Let’s be honest—no matter how stressful the day gets, a good viral video can instantly lift your mood. Whether it’s a funny pet doing something silly, a heartwarming moment between strangers, or a wild dance challenge, viral videos are what keep the internet fun and alive.
