Dwight Howard’s wife files for divorce just six months into marriage
Dwight Howard’s wife, Amber Rose Howard, has filed for divorce six months after they married on Jan. 11, according to court documents obtained by TMZ.
The rapper and reality star — who goes by the name Amy Luciani — filed for divorce on July 1 in Georgia, citing that her marriage to the former NBA champ is “irretrievably broken” and “there are no prospects for reconciliation.”

Rose requested alimony and asked that all marital assets and property be “equitably divided” by the courts.
Howard, 39, and Rose went public with their relationship in December, revealing that they were engaged on Instagram.
They were both wearing diamond rings in a series of photos at the time.
Rose appeared to remove any trace of Howard on her social media.
Last month, she released a children’s book with Howard’s last name.
Howard has yet to publicly address the divorce news.
The former three-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year — who spent 18 years in the league, winning a title with the Lakers in 2020 — is in his first season with the BIG3 League.
Howard was among the first-time nominees for the 2025 Basketball Hall of Fame that were announced in December.
Rose was on Seasons 11 and 12 of “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” and released an album, “Amy’s World,” in 2023.
