Dorinda Medley Coming Back for ‘The Traitors’ Season 4 is the Best Thing This Show Could Have Done
There’s an age-old saying about how you can’t keep a good girl or a good guy down and truer words have never been spoken. That said, I would like to amend that saying and add that in the case of The Traitors, you can’t keep a bitch b**ch from the castle. Don’t believe me? Ask Dorinda Medley.
After strutting into the Scottish Highlands estate operated by host Alan Cumming in Season 3, only to be murdered first by the Traitors — unjustly, I might add — The Real Housewives of New York City star is back for Season 4 and facing off against a new crop of players. While some may have complained about how Peacock should have given another member of the Real Housewives family an opportunity to try their hand at discovering the Traitors (or being one, possibly), after just three episodes, it is clear that bringing Dorinda back may be the best choice this show could have made.

It should come as no surprise to those who have watched Dorinda serve both face and her audience on RHONY over the years that the same woman who gave us the “not well, bitch” meme and welcomed her fellow Housewives into her home for a dinner where she “made it nice” that this woman knows how to do reality TV. In one promo for Season 4, she references one of her most iconic scenes, gives a tagline, and slyly jokes about her Season 3 fate.
“Last time, I made it nice,” she says in the video posted to her Instagram page, “But this time, I’m back for revenge.” 10/10, Dorinda. No notes whatsoever.
Another promo featuring Dorinda and Donna Kelce — Jason and Travis Kelce’s mom who is also a player in Season 4 — sees the Housewife exercising cautiousness at believing Donna’s sweet Midwestern demeanor, saying that not only does she believe she is capable of murder, the last thing she wants to do is anger the Taylor Swift mob.
“Don’t let that nice, sweet lady fool ya, that lady could wreak havoc in the castle because no one is going to f**k with that. Otherwise, every Swiftie in the world will come after you for the rest of your life,” Dorinda says with a smile.
SPOILER ALERT… Dorinda may have known what she was talking about and may be hiding her true intellect because she correctly pegged Donna as a Traitor from the jump. Businesswoman and icon, of course. Add Traitors icon to the list.

The long and short of it is that she is certainly more shrewd than she may have previously let on and could end up pulling a Dolores Catania — winning the whole thing, I mean. God knows Dolores was pretty clueless throughout all of Season 3 but whatever she did worked out, right?
All of this is to say that I am so thankful to whichever producer, cast member, or general Traitors employee who had the good sense to call Dorinda back up and give her a second chance. I tend to believe everyone deserves a second chance, but especially the ones who are fabulous and cutting in a way that can only be described as iconic.
Will she keep up her unforgettable one-liners and insightful takes as the season goes on? That remains to be seen, but one can surely hope. Dorinda, keep killing it diva and thank you for being you. You make great reality telelvision and for that I’m eternally grateful.
