The song is featured as the third track on Swift’s “The Life of a Showgirl” record, which was released on Friday, and is Travis’ favorite.

In her Friday interview on the U.K.’s Capital FM radio station, Swift, 35, revealed that the song is inspired by her romance with the NFL star.

“Opal can be man-made just like diamonds. And Travis’ birthstone is an opal,” she shared. “I’ve always fixated on that, [and] I’ve always loved that stone.

“I thought it was kind of a cool metaphor that … happiness can also be man-made,” the Grammy winner continued. “That’s what the song is about, the juxtaposition of those two.”

Fans are also convinced Swift threw a jab at Travis’ ex-girlfriend Kayla Nicole with a line about an ex being “in her phone” while the tight end was “in it for real.”

Swift, additionally, touched on her romance with Kelce with “Wish List,” “Honey,” “Wood” — her raunchiest yet — and “The Fate of Ophelia.”

She gushed about the latter in another radio interview Friday.

“This song has some of my favorite moments in it,” Swift said on the U.K.’s Magic station, referencing the “post-hook section” in particular.

“When we wrote that, I was like, ‘Yes! This is why I do music,’” she recalled. “This is a song about feeling for a long time that you might have met a similar fate to Ophelia, who was driven mad over the years, slowly, by love.”

Swift had headline-making relationships with Matty Healy, Joe Alwyn, Jake Gyllenhaal and more stars before meeting Travis.
