In the Season 4 finale, Mabel (Selena Gomez), Charles (Steve Martin), and Oliver (Martin Short) not only solved the mystery of who killed Sazz (Jane Lynch), but stumbled upon the blood-soaked body of Lester (Teddy Coluca) — The Arconia’s longtime doorman — in the courtyard fountain. Now, it’s up to the podcasters to uncover the truth about what really happened.

To do that, they will have to interrogate, examine, and possibly woo a brand new batch of potential wrongdoers, the likes of which include famous faces like Logan Lerman and Keegan-Michael Key, as well as Oscar winners Christoph Waltz, Renee Zellweger, and Dianne Wiest. Oh, and did we mention that Meryl Streep is back, too? Could this set get any more star-studded? Well, actually, yes…

In the three-episode Season 5 premiere, fans are also officially introduced to characters played by Téa Leoni, Bobby Cannavale, and Beanie Feldstein, each integral to the new mob versus old mob themes of the current installment. That said, it’s a lot of names and faces to keep straight and we don’t blame you for getting confused — who can be expected to remember them all?

If you are finding yourself desperately in need of a breakdown of the Only Murders in the Building Season 5 new characters, don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. Keep reading for a full list of all the new faces at The Arconia this season who will surely be up to no good as the episodes release.

Logan Lerman is playing Jay Pflug, one of three billionaires who could be at the center of the mystery surrounding the death of Lester. Jay comes from a pharmaceutical family that is responsible for producing some of the “highly addictive drugs that ruin a lot of people’s lives,” Oliver tells Mabel and Charles in Episode 3, making his character a possible nod to the real-life Sackler family who own Purdue Pharma and recently settled a $7.4 billion opioid lawsuit. Pflug is even more suspicious to the trio after discovering he has his fingers in this mystery cocktail.

First appearance: Season 5 Episode 3, “Rigor”

Where You’ve Seen Him Before: Percy Jackson and the Olympians, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Oh, Hi, Fury, Bullet Train

  2. Bobby Cannavale as Nicky Caccimelio

Alongside Lester (Teddy Coluca), Bobby Cannavale’s Nicky Caccimelio is the other man at the center of Only Murders in the Building Season 5. His wife, Sofia Caccimelio, first appeared in the Season 4 finale, looking to Mabel, Oliver, and Charles to help find Nicky after his disappearance. Known as the “Dry Cleaning King of Brooklyn,” it’s clear to everyone that Nicky has some old-world mob ties that will rear their head throughout Season 5.

First Appearance: Season 5 Episode 1, “Nail in the Coffin”

Where You’ve Seen Him Before: The Watcher, Nine Perfect Strangers, Ezra, Ant-Man, Old Dads

  3. Téa Leoni as Sofia Caccimelio

Nicky’s devoted wife, Sofia Caccimelio, is played by none other than Madam Secretary herself, Téa Leoni. The actress first appeared in the Season 4 finale as a concerned wife and mother looking for her missing husband, whose business may have ties to The Arconia. In Season 5, she continues this role but may be hiding secrets about her true motivations for finding Nicky.

First Appearance: Season 4 Episode 10, “My Best Friend’s Wedding”

Where You’ve Seen Her Before: Madam Secretary, The Family Man, Fun with Dick and Jane, Deep Impact, Bad Boys

  4. Renee Zellweger as Camila White

A real estate magnate who “owns half of New York,” the two-time Oscar winner Renee Zellweger joins as the second-richest billionaire in the new elite, Camila White, worth an estimated $47 billion. White owns half of New York’s hotels and is also described as an “entrepreneurial designer,” who Charles notes “can also rock a neutral cashmere,” making her the “human incarnation of a Nancy Meyers kitchen.” Do her gloved hands have blood on them?

First Appearance: Season 5 Episode 3, “Rigor”

Where You’ve Seen Her Before: The Bridget Jones franchise, Chicago, Jerry Maguire, Cold Mountain, Judy

  5. Christoph Waltz as Sebastian “Bash” Steed

Christoph Waltz, yet another two-time Oscar winner, plays Bash Steed, a tech billionaire ($53 billion, to be exact) and longevity enthusiast, according to his description in Episode 3. As of his debut in the third episode, little is known about his character other than Oliver remembering that he’s the “guy who invented that thing.” Could he be this season’s Elon Musk character?

First Appearance: Season 5 Episode 3, “Rigor”

Where You’ve Seen Him Before: Inglorious Bastards, Django Unchained, The Consultant, No Time to Die

  6. Beanie Feldstein as Althea

An old friend of Mabel’s, Beanie Feldstein’s Althea technically first appears in Episode 2, “After You,” in a flashback sequence showing Mabel, Althea, and Tim Kono (Julian Cihi) sneaking alcohol into the building while Lester (Teddy Coluca) watched. Althea — sorry, Thé as she later tells Charles and Mabel is her new name — then reappears in Episode 3 as The Arconia’s newest (and probably most annoying) resident. Thé is a hotshot singer who can’t help but look down on Mabel, giving Gomez’s character a frenemy storyline for this season.

First Appearance: Season 5 Episode 2, “After You”

Where You’ve Seen Her Before: Booksmart, Drive-Away Dolls, Lady Bird, Neighbors 2

  7. Keegan-Michael Key as Mayor Tillman

It’s an election year in New York City and no one knows it more than Mayor Tillman, played by comedian and actor Keegan-Michael Key. In Episode 1, Key stops by Lester’s wake to deliver a eulogy — and a “get out to the polls” message — despite having never met the doorman. Things are rarely as they appear when it comes to The Arconia, however, and we see a world in which Mayor Tillman is more involved in this investigation than he’s willing to let on.

First Appearance: Season 5 Episode 1, “Nail in the Coffin”

Where You’ve Seen Him Before: Key & Peele, Wonka, The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Schmigadoon!

  8. Dianne Wiest as Lorraine Coluca

The bereaved widow of The Arconia’s doorman, Hollywood legend Dianne Wiest plays Lorraine, the opera singer with a heart of gold whom Lester married in the courtyard of The Arconia decades ago. As Lester’s closest confidant and the one who knows his true thoughts on the residents of the building, she may just be the secret weapon to finding out what really happened to her husband the night he died at The Arconia.

First Appearance: Season 5 Episode 1, “Nail in the Coffin”

What You’ve Seen Her In: Practical Magic, Life in Pieces, Edward Scissorhands, Bullets Over Broadway, The Birdcage
