Dems’ role in the Dallas shooting: Letters
The Issue: A shooting at a Dallas ICE facility that killed one immigrant and wounded others.
The maniacal language the left uses to target ICE has resulted in multiple violent attacks on these brave law enforcement officers (“Sniper kills in ICE blast,” Sept. 25).

Dems’ demonizing rhetoric has become increasingly vile — and the longer it continues, the more potential there is for fatality. Meanwhile, the vicious evildoers who ICE agents are arresting and removing from US cities are conspicuously and hideously protected from criticism by left-wing politicians and media.
This is all blatantly un-American, and it needs to be rejected.

I abhor political violence, and I recognize that this is a horrific question to ask: With the left’s demonization of federal law enforcement officers — which has lead to sympathizers shooting people — how long, God forbid, until someone shoots back? And then where will this country be?

All I have heard in previous weeks is the phrase “This must stop.” The last person to whom I attribute this phrase was Sen. Ted Cruz, as he spoke those words after a shooter opened fire at an ICE detention center.
But instead we should ask “Who must stop?”
It’s Democratic politicians, who seem to be aiding and abetting those who will actually commit these hideous acts of violence.

I don’t know if the migrants killed in the attack on the ICE office were innocent or not, but they did not deserve to die at the hands of a lunatic.
This is largely the fault of Democrats’ unchecked rhetoric and opposition to enforcing laws.
When will this stop?
This is not peaceful protest. We voted as a country for certain policies and if you don’t like the policies, vote them out. That is what makes for a democracy.

Tyler Robinson allegedly used a Mauser 98, chambered with a 30-06 round, to assassinate a perceived political rival.
Joshua Jahn allegedly used a Mauser 98, chambered with an 8 millimeter round, to fire upon a federal facility for the same ostensible purpose.
And Democrats would have us believe that the ICE agents are the Nazis.

The Issue: Rich Lowry’s column drawing a connection between the trans movement and violence.
Are Ted Bundy, the Unabomber and the Columbine shooters labeled as exemplars of the evil of cisgenderism (“Fatal Delusion,” Rich Lowry, Sept. 23)?
Why don’t you tag every crime story without a transgender perpetrator as “cisgender maniac shoots innocent victim?” Perhaps because you’d then realize the correlation makes no sense?
As one questioner of Charlie Kirk noted, transgender shooters make up 0.05% of the mass shooters of the last 10 years.
Any reasonable person looking at statistics would conclude that trans people are vastly less likely to be violent than cisgendered people. But that’s not the message of fearmongering and anger you want to send, right?

When Lowry wrote that “we may well have experienced our first pro-trans assassination,” he revealed that he suffers from Trans Derangement Syndrome.
Comparing transgender people to radical European revolutionaries is pure sensationalism.
Has Lowry ever known a trans person? I’ve met hundreds at support groups and events and had hormone treatment for seven years, but I never stormed the Bastille or the Capitol.
