Democrats have GOT to stop egging on violent extremists
The maniac who threatened to blow up a Washington, DC, cathedral in order to kill Supreme Court justices may have shown more commitment to his deranged principles than most leftists and Democrat activists, but they’re all reading from the same page.
Louis Geri’s wacked-out manifesto expressed anger about the same targets — ICE, the Supreme Court, Catholics and Jews — that progressives have on their own enemies list.

Violent leftist lunatics have become a humdrum feature of our political life. Nicholas “Sophie” Roske planned to assassinate Justice Brett Kavanaugh and brought a host of deadly weapons to his home, along with notes on other justices’ addresses.
Roske acted alone, but in the wake of raging rhetoric from the likes of Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY), who’d declared that Kavanaugh and others had “released the whirlwind” and “will pay the price” for voting to overturn Roe v. Wade.
And now leading Democrats are demonizing ICE agents. Govs. Tim Walz, Gavin Newsom and JB Pritzker have called ICE a “modern-day Gestapo,” “authoritarian” and “Nazis.” House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-B’klyn) called for people to “fight [Trump’s agenda] in the streets.”
None of them are leading the physical attacks on ICE facilities, including yet another disturbed man’s fatal assault in Dallas.
But you absolutely can damn Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson for ordering the police to stand down as mobs surround and attack federal agents, and radical drivers box in ICE vehicles.
Virginia candidate Jay Jones texted a Republican colleague his demented fantasies about the violent death of a political foe, even hoped for children to be shot to death in their mother’s arms — yet top state Dems remain steadfast behind his attorney-general run.
Democrats have pointed to the April arson attack on the home of Gov. Josh Shapiro (D-Pa.) as showing how “both sides” are getting violent, yet firebug Cody Balmer said he was inspired by the plight of the Palestinians — another progressive cause.
The right certainly has its conspiracy theorists and loons, but what can compare to lefties’ cheering Charlie Kirk’s killer and assassin Luigi Mangione?
The answer to this mess may well be both sides turning down the rhetorical heat, but that surely has to start with Democrats at least tacitly admitting that they have the bigger problem right now.
Let’s be honest—no matter how stressful the day gets, a good viral video can instantly lift your mood. Whether it’s a funny pet doing something silly, a heartwarming moment between strangers, or a wild dance challenge, viral videos are what keep the internet fun and alive.
