The Soho Sessions hosted an evening featuring performances by Keith Richards, Mavis Staples, Norah Jones, and Warren Hayes to raise awareness for The Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration (AFTD).
Wilis, 70, who retired from acting in March 2022, was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia in 2023.
He and Emma, 47, who married in 2009, share two daughters, Mabel, 13, and Evelyn, 11.
Willis and Moore, 62, who were married from 1987 to 2000, share three daughters, Rumer, 37, Scout, 34, and Talullah, 31.
The two women enjoy a close relationship and released the statement regarding Bruce’s condition together with their daughters.
Emma opened the evening by telling the packed crowd that she “obviously wished Bruce could be here, but he’s here in spirit.”
She also shared that when Soho Sessions founders Nicole Rechter and Greg Williamson came to her with the idea for the intimate concert, she enthusiastically replied, “F–k yeah! Can we please have some fun?”
“As Bruce would say, ‘Live it up.’ Let’s all continue to live it up and have fun,” she added before thanking AFTD for all they have done for her family.
Richards sang three songs, including the Chuck Berry classic, “Run Rudolph Run,” after telling the crowd that he and the “Moonlighting” alum became friends when they were neighbors in Turks and Caicos.
Other celebs rocking out in the cozy setting included Michael J. Fox, Tracy Pollan, Jeff Ross, Steve Guttenberg, Steve Schirripa, Samantha Ronson (who came with Moore), Andrew McCarthy, Jillian Martin, Richards’ wife, Patti Hansen, and their daughters, Theodora and Alexandra. Richard’s longtime manager Jane Rose was also spotted rocking out to her client.
Also present were Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick, who sat next to Whoopi Goldberg.
A spy told Page Six that Sedgwick joked that she picked a terrible time to use the bathroom as Richards was going on stage.
