Drew Feltwell ran to grab a home run ball hit by Phillies outfielder Harrison Bader during Philly’s game against the Marlins Friday night and walked back to his seats to hand the ball to his son, Lincoln.

Video shows the woman chasing down Feltwell and yelling in his face, apparently believing the ball belonged to her.

Feltwell eventually relented.

“I pretty much just wanted her to go away,” Feltwell told NBC10 Philadelphia on Saturday.

Feltwell, who also brought his daughter to the game, explained what happened from his perspective.

“She was in the seat behind,” he told NBC10. “I don’t know if she was standing up. Maybe? But I was watching the ball from almost the bat to where it went into that seat and kind of jumbled around, and I was already going in, and coincidentally, as soon as I was going in, it stopped in one spot, and I just picked it up.”

The woman yelled, “That’s my ball!” and claimed the ball was stolen from her seat, even though the seat was empty, according to Feltwell.

Bader met with Lincoln after the game and gave him a signed bat.
