Def Leppard Las Vegas residency 2026: Where to buy tickets

“Hysteria” is about to descend upon Sin City.

Def Leppard just announced a 2026 Las Vegas residency. The 12-show stint, the group’s third in “The Entertainment Capital of the World” after stays in 2013 and ’19, is set to take place on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at The Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace from Feb. 3-28.

To ring in the occasion, The Rock and Roll Hall of Famers are mixing things up.

“When we close down this current tour in October, that’s the last time you’re going to see this particular show,” lead singer Joe Elliott told USA Today.

“Vegas will have a new concept. We have the A, B and C song list – the crown jewels we have to play, the ones we hope other people like and some that will throw people off. Not to copy Taylor (Swift), but I do like the idea of an eras-type thing, maybe one song from every album. We have the acoustic breakdown that may stay, maybe with different songs. We have to keep some mystique about it, but it’s going to be great.”

As a refresher, those hits include “Pour Some Sugar On Me,” “Rock Of Ages,” “Photograph,” “Foolin’,” “Love Bites” and many more.

Prior to the run on the Strip, Def Leppard will complete their ongoing summer and fall 2025 tour with special guests Bret Michaels, The Struts, Extreme and Brother Cane on select dates.

That includes a headlining spot at Saratoga Springs, NY’s Saratoga Performing Arts Center on Tuesday, July 22.

Fans can purchase tickets for all upcoming Def Leppard shows on sites like Vivid Seats; the official on-sale for the 2026 Las Vegas residency is Friday, July 25.

Vivid Seats is a secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.

They have a 100% buyer guarantee that states your transaction will be safe and secure and will be delivered before the event.

Def Leppard new music

Most recently, Def Leppard released a faithful cover of Ben E. King’s doo-wop classic “Stand By Me” to raise money for FireAid, an organization supporting victims of the January 2025 L.A. wildfires.

Before that, they dropped their 12th studio album “Diamond Star Halos” on May 27, 2022.

The 15-song offering is the rare record that sounds in step with the group’s greatest hits. The production isn’t overly shiny or glossy; the guitars maintain their raw quality that sound distinctly Leppard-ian and Elliott’s voice is perfectly preserved as are Rick Savage’s iconic backing vocals.

Album opener “Take What You Want” is a stadium anthem-ready rocker complete with a classic call and response section that the group specializes in. After that, the shreddin’ don’t stop. “Kick” is a heavy slice of pop that might remind fans of “Pour Some Sugar On Me” — it’s radio-friendly but won’t alienate true diehards who have been with the band since day one.

In a bit of a surprise move, Def Leppard duets with bluegrass icon Alison Krauss on the melancholy “This Guitar,” which features an epic solo courtesy of the titular instrument. This departure is a welcome one for the group. It’s nice to see them continue to tinker and experiment with their sound after nearly 50 years together. Krauss joins the gang on the dreamy “Lifeless” as well.

Still, our favorite track of all here might be the strummy, acoustic “U Rok Mi.” Upon hearing for the first time, we did a double take. This doesn’t sound like Leppard. Yet, once the “Rokin’” chorus kicks in, the 3.5-minute song fits squarely in the band’s pantheon of hits. Keep an eye out for this one. It’s familiar and fresh and exciting all at once.

If you’d like to give the record a spin, you can find “Diamond Star Halos” here.
