This bird sang like a canary!
A loud-mouthed parrot snitched on his owner by squawking drug-dealing slang in video footage found by cops — leading to a massive crack and heroin bust in England, police said.

“Two for 25, two for 25!” the feathered rat chirped in the footage, according to cops, who said it was code for the price of dope.
A drug ring of 15 people in Blackpool was taken down by the tiny yellow bird — who was also seen in videos playing with drug money — after police seized gang leader Adam Garnett’s cellphones, according to the Lancashire Constabulary.
Cellphone footage led them to the home of Garnett’s girlfriend and number two, Shannon Hilton, where her phone featured videos that amounted to the parrot squealing.
Videos allegedly show Hilton teaching her less-than-cagey critter to say “two for 25” — apparent payment for bags of the dope — “in front of a child” and “the parrot playing with money, which was gained through their illegal activities,” police said.
Cops say they also discovered piles of cash along with heroin, crack cocaine and ketamine at her home.
Other videos on her phone revealed calls between her and Garnett and a clip of what appeared to be bricks of cocaine with music with the lyric “cocaine,” playing over it.
Garnett had been serving a 15-year jail sentence on separate charges when authorities seized several cell phones and Wi-Fi routers during a cell search, leading them to the parrot footage.
The search of another gang member’s phone showed Garnett directed others on how to run the illegal enterprise.
“It was discovered that Garnett, as the leading member, and despite being in prison, was involved in the orchestration of moving evidence so that police could not find it and had communication channels with practically all the members of the organized crime group he controlled,” police said.
In total, cops nabbed 15 people between the ages of 21 and 50 connected to the drug ring, which operated between February 2023 and July 2024 in Blackpool — a resort town on the Irish Sea.
Two did not plead guilty as they failed to appear in Preston Crown Court.
Garnett was charged with two counts of conspiring to supply class-A drugs. He was sentenced to 19 1/2 years — which he will have to serve consecutively to his existing 15-year prison term.
Hilton was charged with conspiracy to supply class-A drugs and possession with intent to supply Class-B ones. She was sentenced to 12 years.
It’s unclear if the parrot, whose name wasn’t known, ended up a free bird.
