The crown of Scott’s helmet appeared to contact Adams’ chin, which ultimately dislodged the football from the Rams star.

Adams fell to the ground in what looked like a heap of pain. He was ultimately able to get up and walk to the sideline, where he was spotted with blood on his tongue.
Adams, 33, headed into the blue medical tent to get checked out by trainers, but he returned to the game a few minutes later.
Scott, meanwhile, was flagged for a personal foul.

Despite getting 15 yards on the penalty and moving deep into Panthers territory, the Rams only came away from the drive with three points.
Prior to the play, Adams had recorded just two catches for 33 yards.
