Daniel Craig’s style transformation takes new bizarre turn

Daniel Craig’s style transformation from sharp 007 star to contemplative Cambridge professor appears to be complete.

The “James Bond” actor — once lusted after by women everywhere for his suave, devastatingly clean-cut portrayal of the British spy — has grown out his hair in recent years and adopted a scholarly, authoritative appearance amid the September release of Netflix’s “Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery.”

After the actor flaunted a floppier, softer hairstyle amid the “Queer” press tour earlier this year, and rocked a shaggy cut at the Venice Film Festival in 2024, fans started dissecting the dramatic changes.

“Daniel Craig looks like a hacker working for Hans Gruber,” observed one person on X, referring to a particularly stylish 2024 fashion campaign for Loewe, in which Craig, 57, sported a choppy cut and a colorful pullover sweater.

“Andrew and daniel craig last night looking like the geography department,” another person wrote in January, of an introspectively mature photo of Craig and Andrew Garfield.

Another noted that he appeared “dapper (and mysterious) with his long hair in ‘Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery!’”

“I love all Daniel Craigs, but I really do have a soft spot for Long Hair Daniel Craig,” yet another noted.

Alongside a photo of Craig’s earnestly intellectual photos from the Toronto International Film Festival in February, one person wrote, “Daniel craig with longer hair is so fine please never go back to 007 hair keep your hair long daddy.”

Another called the romantic cut a “daring departure from his Bond look.”

Still, others have drawn comparisons between the actor and iconic 90s newscaster Bill Bonds, whose ruggedly handsome appearance and longish blond hair make for a striking resemblance to the Bond actor.

Craig first began appearing as a clean-shaven, sharply stylish James Bond in 2006’s “Casino Royale.” He’d reprise the role four more times over the years before ending his stint as the British spy with 2021’s “No Time to Die.”

The actor took over the role after Pierce Brosnan’s final turn as Bond in 2002’s “Die Another Day.” At the time, Craig’s cutting-edge version of the big-screen hero was quite a departure from Brosnan’s dreamy, longer-haired Bond — a look he now appears to have embraced as his own.

Let’s be honest—no matter how stressful the day gets, a good viral video can instantly lift your mood. Whether it’s a funny pet doing something silly, a heartwarming moment between strangers, or a wild dance challenge, viral videos are what keep the internet fun and alive.
