D4vd’s unreleased ‘Celeste’ song surfaces as cops search home
Cops raided a Los Angeles house where singer D4vd had reportedly been living after finding the dismembered corpse of 15-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez in the trunk of his Tesla — as netizens revealed his unreleased song about a girl with the same name.
Police executed a search warrant Wednesday night at the Hollywood Hills mansion where 20-year-old D4vd — whose legal name is David Anthony Burke — had been living, sources told ABC Los Angeles.

The house was near where a Tesla registered to the “Romantic Homicide” singer had been abandoned — with the rotting body of the missing teen hidden in the trunk.
The raid on D4vd’s crash pad was the latest development in a case cops are investigating as a homicide — as connections between the pop star and the dead teen keep piling up.

Around the time Rivas Hernandez went missing, rumors swirled that D4vd was dating a teen named Celeste, according to screenshots of messages posted on fan chatrooms in 2023.
The same year, D4vd, who has more than 2 million followers on Instagram, made an unreleased track in which he mentions the name “Celeste” twice.
“Oh, Celeste, the girl with my name tattooed on her chest, smell her on my clothes like cigarettes,” he sings in the track, which began circulating online after Rivas was ID’d as the girl in the trunk.
A photo has also surfaced that seemingly places D4vd in Rivas’ home town of Lake Elisnor, 70 miles from LA.
A picture and video also show D4vd with a girl who looks like a 13-year-old Rivas Hernandez, whose photos were circulated on “missing” posters in 2024.
Handout
Other eerie connections between D4vd and the missing teen include a tattoo on her right index finger that reads “Shhh…” — similar to one D4vd has.
The girl’s mom also said she had been dating someone named David before she went missing, according to TMZ.
Two years later, Rivas’ body was found wrapped in plastic in the truck of D4vd’s Tesla, which had been impounded at a Hollywood tow yard after sitting on a public street for around a month.
D4vd had been performing on tour since Aug. 15 and has been “cooperating with authorities,” a spokesperson for the singer told NBC 4.
He canceled a Wednesday night concert in Seattle and has put his tour on hold.
Police haven’t named D4vd or anyone else as a suspect.
