CNN is receiving backlash online for reporting that Park Avenue shooter Shane Tamura was “possibly white” while viewing the initial security footage released immediately after the shooting.

In the photos first shared online, Tamura was captured walking into 345 Park Avenue with an assault rifle in his hand while decked out in a suit.
